*UPDATE ON HOMEWATCH IN BROADLAND*
2nd December 2009
Altough Broadland HomeWatch Association Committe are opposed to the changes in the way Norfolk Constabulary propose to support HomeWatch in Norfolk, we realise that these changes have been decided and therefore we will continue to operate to try to minimise the effects.
At the present our Administrator is still in post, but is off sick and is not likely to return until at least January, she will in any event be replaced by a Neighbourhood Communications Officer by the end of March 2010, this person will be based at Sprowston Police Station.
Obviously with the Administrator away we are not recieving any Ringmaster messages, I , along with other members of The Norfolk Association have been meeting with Norfol;k Constabulary and one of the points I have raised is the lack of info to Broadland Co-ordinators I have been promised they will try to remedy this.
Our Administrator, before she had her operation sent out a message, since then one more message has been sent by Norfolk Constabulary, I am under the impression this did not go to everyone, if you are a co-ordinator, are reading this message and did not recieve that message please let me know.
If you have any queries regarding HomeWatch in Broadland please do not hesitate to contact me.
